Virtual Conference
October 23 & 24, 2020

It's (virtually) on!

We look forward to welcoming you virtually this October for our CALPCC Conference.

The focus of our conference is Mental Health Justice: Bridging Policy and Action. The definition of mental health justice (below) allows us to situate our discussions in understanding how anti-Blackness, racism, and white supremacy perpetuate the various systemic injustices experienced on a daily basis by so many. For this reason, we must ensure we lean into these discussions to be better prepared to meet the needs of our clients.

Mental Health Justice refers to the concept of examining the social determinants of mental health and policy, systems, and government and how they interact with the provision of mental health care. As clinicians and educators, we have to continue to be diligent in understanding how all of these systems work together and how sadly, some still do not receive care that they need and are entitled to.

Register Today!

We would also like to take a moment to express our thanks to California State University, Sacramento for their willingness to host our conference in the fall. Hopefully, there will be a future opportunity to hold our conference there in person.
