California Association for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors
CALPCC is pleased to announce our second annual Spring Symposium on May 22, 2021.
The focus of our Spring Symposium is to empower and strengthen our communities despite uncertain times. In these troubling times, we need to continue to have conversations about how we as clinicians can move forward, but also how we help our clients make sense of the ever changing world. In our work as clinicians, educators, and mental health professionals we must lean into the hard discussions that focus on the effects of issues such as Suicide Prevention, politics, ongoing COVID-19, Anti-Black and Anti-Asian racism, Social Isolation, Vaccines, amongst many other topics. This symposium will attempt to provide some perspective across many disciplines while also creating community with attendees.
We look forward to welcoming members and non-members alike as we have community discussions on the range of topics mentioned above. We hope that you will come and join us for what promises to be an excellent event.
