CALPCC is pleased to offer a live webinar from Richard Lam, LMFT, from The Feeling Good Institute. We hope you will join us! Details below.
Rapid Recovery: Supercharging Clinical Outcomes with TEAM-CBT
Despite the proven effectiveness of traditional psychotherapy, many clinicians still encounter treatment resistance, stalled progress, and premature client dropout. These challenges often aren’t due to lack of skill, but rather gaps in how therapy is structured and delivered. This webinar introduces TEAM-CBT, an innovative, evidence-based framework developed by Dr. David Burns to enhance therapeutic outcomes and create faster, more meaningful change. Grounded in four core components, Testing, Empathy, Agenda Setting, and Methods, this approach offers a clear, structured way to improve both client engagement and clinical effectiveness.
Participants will gain an overview of how each component works together to strengthen the therapeutic alliance, identify and resolve resistance, and apply targeted interventions more effectively. From using session-by-session assessments to eliminate blind spots, to mastering advanced empathy and motivational strategies, this training provides practical tools clinicians can immediately integrate into their work. Whether you’re new to CBT or looking to deepen your current practice, this webinar offers a powerful framework to help clients move forward more efficiently and stay engaged in the process.
