Refund Policy
Last updated: February 10, 2023
Most of our sales and transactions do not include an option for refunds, with some notable exceptions. Please read below to read about refunds as they relate to our different channels of commerce:
Continuing Education Catalog
Purchases made in the CALPCC Continuing Education Catalog are non-refundable except in cases of:
► A mistake in the course purchased: in which case, an alternate course may be exchanged at the discretion of CALPCC.
► There was a technical error or glitch on the CE Catalog website that prevented the purchaser from being able to take or complete the course in the timeframe needed.
Refunds are not issued if:
► The purchaser decides that they would rather not take the course;
► The purchaser is unable to use course CEUs toward requirements beyond our credentials. (We are credentialed by the BBS to provide CEUs toward California licensure renewals only; our CEUs cannot be used toward initial licensure.)
Continuing Education [live] Events
Large Events
Event-related fees are typically non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the event advertisement. In the case of large in-person events (i.e Conferences), fees are collected to reserve spaces, food, technology etc and therefore may incur cancellation charges. Please see specific event advertising for more details.
Smaller Events and Webinars
Fees for smaller events such as symposia or other webinars are non-refundable. Due to administrative costs and fees for these events, CALPCC will not offer a refund unless there are extenuating circumstances as deemed by CALPCC.
Extenuating Circumstances
Our goal is not to create undue hardship on our members related to CALPCC charges or fees. If a CALPCC charge or fee will create undue hardship, please email us info@calpcc.org. We will evaluate your request and respond accordingly.
Hardship cases include:
► Lack of funds that satisfy other basic needs
► Urgent medical or family medical circumstances
Hardship cases do not include:
► "I meant to cancel before renewal, but forgot."
► "I unsubscribed from CALPCC system emails and didn't receive notices." It is our members' responsibility to maintain subscriptions to our system notifications.
► "I no longer receive emails at the address I used to subscribe to CALPCC." (See above.)
► "I belong to other organizations."
